Hello little blog. Yes, I'm finally getting back to you after about a year away. In the year away, life has been painful/wonderful, frightening/exciting, and probably any other contradictory pair of words one can imagine. In other words, life frequently gets in the way of blogging.
I'm making no grand promises here, little blog. I may ignore you again. I may forget you for a while. But, I've been writing so much in this last year. A lot of it is that god-awful novel that's been following me around since I was 14. There's some poetry. And there are things that I can't quite classify yet. Vignettes, I suppose. I want to resurrect you, little blog, so I'll share more and thus write more.
It sounds so good on paper (screen), doesn't it?
I can't guarantee that everything is good. I can't even guarantee that everything is finished. But all stories have to start somewhere, right?

Thank you. I hope that by not making grand promises regarding frequency of posts, I will post. We shall see.
