Catching Up Part Two

Once again, life gets in the way.  In this case, a nasty cold got in the way, so there are quite a few poems to post today!

Sparkle like a diamond

cutting through glass

ceilings and walls

surrounding you

like a cage

for an animal

held captive

for being

too ferocious

too fearless

and never knowing

any better.

Long forgotten by time

by those who were there.

Fragile

and strong.

Champion,

warrior,

mother.

Gone too soon.

Tiny terror moving stealthily

and swiftly toward a target.

Love and companionship

unlike another.

Ladylike grace

and charm.
